Each warranty covers one outdoor unit and its associated indoor components. If you have two separate systems (e.g., a heat pump and a furnace), each requires its own warranty.

What Every Claim Covers
Diagnostic Labor
We come out, find the problem, diagnose it. That service call is covered — no charge to you.
Repair Labor
Remove the failed component, install the manufacturer-warranted replacement, get the system back running. The labor is covered.
Refrigerant
When a leak is permanently repaired or a covered component is replaced, refrigerant is included. Not covered for diagnostic-only visits.
Thermostat Labor
Labor to diagnose and replace a faulty thermostat. Covered up to $250 over the life of the warranty.

Process
How It Works
Call us — we pull your record
One call to (508) 965-0046. We look up your job in ServiceTitan, confirm the system you want covered, and confirm it's in good working condition. We do not issue a warranty on a system with a known, open problem.
Sign your warranty agreement
We prepare a warranty agreement with your system details — equipment type, model, serial number, install date, and coverage term. You receive it via email to sign digitally. Takes about two minutes.
Pay. You're covered.
Payment is collected at signing. Effective date is the date of purchase — coverage does not backdate to the install date. Your warranty certificate follows within 30 days.
When something breaks, call us first
Any repair must be performed by SumZero. Third-party repairs without our prior written approval are not covered. We dispatch the same way we always do — and the labor bill goes to the warranty, not to you.
One Rule To Keep It Valid
Your warranty requires a professional inspection at least once a year. Miss the inspection and coverage on that system is at risk. Comfort Club is the easiest way to stay covered.

Annual inspection that fulfills your warranty's maintenance requirement and creates a documented service record before any claim is filed. Priority service queue and preferred pricing on repairs included.
